MPC-BE Player
The strongest player MPC-HC has fallen, and
MPC-BE is coming. Mpc-be is separated from mpc-hc. It is mainly edited by
Russian programmers. The optimized version is recompiled, the decoder is
different, and the interface is also beautiful. MPC-BE has improved the UI part
by retaining all the features. The old 98-style interface has been replaced by

MPC, full name Media Player Classic, is a
lightweight open source player that mimics the classic version of Windows Media
Player 6.4. MPC is still active now that the combination of multiple decoder
splitters has lost its meaning. Because mpc has completely replaced the status
of Microsoft Windows Media Player, it has become the standard for video player
projects. Currently all video projects are developed with priority support for
mpc, such as the current subtitle renderer Xy-SubFilter and video renderer
madvr. But at the same time, because of its too front end, the things that have

famous Korean kmplayer.
However, the development of the mpc project was
split into two camps, mpc-hc and mpc-be, due to internal contradictions. Mpc-hc
is widely recognized as the official successor of mpc. At the same time, mpc-hc
relies on cooperation with lav filter, and finally becomes the real innocent
king of the player.
Briefly introduce the features of mpc-hc and mpc-be:
Common features: 1. Small size, but more support.
Because domestic players, especially commercial players, mostly have a lot of
useless filters built in to avoid copyright problems, the volume is too large.
And mpc does not have this type of worry, and support and functionality far
exceeds most players.

achieved great advantages in decoding efficiency.
2. Developers' enthusiasm for mpc-hc is often
higher than mpc-be, and mpc-hc supports other filters better than mpc-be.
1. Because the built-in lav of mpc-hc does not
support the DXVA1.0 interface specification. The support for hard solutions for
xp and the following systems is much smaller than the mpc-be supporting DVXA1.0
interface.
2. Because it is not forced to use the kernel, it
is convenient to mount the madvr without using the file name to bypass this.
Thereby avoiding a lot of trouble.
From the setting options, the m filter decoder
should be different from the pc-hc (which is lav?). The specific playback performance
is not noticeable.
The MPC-BE interface is beautified as you can see
in the screenshot: the buttons at the bottom of the main interface, the volume
icon, the progress bar, and the status bar are all changed to black. If
hardware acceleration is enabled for video playback, the word "GPU"
will also be displayed to the left of the volume icon.
If you don't like black, you can also adjust the
brightness and color of the theme by dragging the sliders of brightness, R, G,
B in "Options" - "interface". The color of the volume can
also be adjusted separately .
